The Community TrustSandwich St. Mary's Community Trust The building is in the care of The Churches Conservation Trust (TCCT), SSMCT — in agreement with TCCT and other involved organisations — has raised funds to provide 300 new seats, new lighting, mobility ramp, storage/changing room and the basis for toilet and kitchen facilities. A large demountable stage is in place (in conjunction with the Sandwich Festival Association). New Heating Project: The next — and biggest — project is to install a suitable heating system which will enable year-round use thus doubling the time St Mary's will be available for community use. Some funding has come from various sources but the Friends of SSMCT have been stalwart supporters. New Friends are needed and are most welcome to be part of this exciting challenge for Sandwich.
